MONDAY, APRIL 1, 7:30PM
AT SIGNATURE THEATRE

ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY!
AND IT'S FREE!
RSVP to hstyles@artistsbloc.org

Artists' Bloc is pleased to announce a special workshop presentation of the season's spunkiest musical theatre mash-up. "Three Sisters, or The Dormouse's Tale" is an imaginative and whimsical blend of Chekhov and Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, written by Christopher Mirto and composed by Brian Valencia.

The lovable Dormouse from Carroll's infamously mad tea party takes us down to the bottom of a treacle well, where we meet Olga, Masha, and Irina. Through 10 eclectic songs -- some goofball, some streaked with sadness -- the three sisters long to join their brother Andre above ground, and to flee the confines of the well for a world less... brown.

FEATURING:
- ADRIA VITLAR as OLGA
- FELICIA CURRY as MASHA
- EMILY TRASK as IRINA
- DARIUS SMITH as DORMOUSE, on piano

Directed by Christopher Mirto.

>> The performance will be followed by a brief feedback session, with the artists in conversation with the audience.

PERFORMANCE RUNS IN THE ARK BLACKBOX AT SIGNATURE THEATRE, 4200 CAMPBELL AVE, ARLINGTON VA, 22206

ADMISSION IS FREE, BUT SEATS ARE LIMITED. RSVP TO hstyles@artistsbloc.org TO RESERVE YOUR PLACE IN THE WELL.

Tumbling After, a short play I wrote, is being workshopped and performed this month with the wonderful Fresh Produc'd Theatre Company.
Tumbling After  is "a short telling of a long tale about what it means to break your crown, the hills we climb, and those we choose to climb them with."

Directed by the intuitive and inventive A.Z. Kelsey, and performed by the incredibly talented cast of Shannon Sullivan and Kyle Metzger.

Come check it out!

This Monday I will be reading the role of Marianne in  A Defector In Paris - a smart, dry, silly and somewhat
Stoppardian new comedy by playwright/actor Keith Boynton.

"Fled from under the yoke of Communism, a young dissident writer finds himself living in luxury in the seductive City of Lights. With delicous temptations around every corner and his champagne bill increasing at an alarming rate, Tomas must produce a masterpiece, or risk losing his reputation, his hotel room and very likely his soul."

directed by Alicia Dhyana House.
Featuring: Keith Boynton, Adam Bryant*, Nick DeMarco, Mike Lavoie,  Caitlin McEwan*, Michele Remsen, Max Roll*, and Emily Trask*
(*denotes member of Actors' Equity Association)

7pm on Monday, February 18th
at Access Theater's Gallery space.
Located in Tribeca at 380 Broadway 4th Floor
,
between Walker and White Streets, 2 blocks south of Canal
Subways nearby include the A, C, E, N, R,
Q, 6, J, or Z to Canal St or the 1 to Franklin.
Admission is Free - but donations are Welcome!!

Also - Directly after the reading, there will be a celebratory reception
in honor of both the reading itself and the debut of Insatiable Theater - a brand-new NYC-based company founded by actor/producer Matt Biagini primarily dedicated to new works for the stage.

Please RSVP to insatiabletheater@gmail.com.

Hope to see you at this incredibly exciting reading and celebration!!

I am very excited to be reading the role of Miss Kitty Molony (the historical soubrette that specialized in "trouser roles" in Edwin Booth's 1885-86 touring company) in the upcoming reading of The Edwin Booth Company Presents, written and directed by award winning actress, playwright, and director, Angela Iannone.

The Edwin Booth Company Presents will be performed, fittingly, at Edwin Booth's actual final home -
The Players Club.
January 15th at 7pm.  Admission is Free!
