The Gaming Table has opened to wonderful reviews (click on the links for full article), received 5 stars from MD Theatre Guide, and is Helen Hayes Recommended.

“Yet it is Trask’s Valeria who quickly becomes an audience favorite; peering through glasses, her enthusiastic love of philosophy make her an intriguing, boisterous antithesis to what the others represent.”
Alan Zilberman Brightest Young Things D.C.

“Trask is a hoot as a woman who would rather dissect animals than pursue romance.”  Susan Berlin Talkin' Broadway D.C.

“With her addiction to science, Emily Trask’s amusing, one-track-minded Valeria consigns for a time even winningly virile supplicants, such as Robbie Gay’s Ensign Lovely, to a back burner.”
“And in the conjuring of Valeria’s laboratory, where she clearly feels most herself, Centlivre’s humor comes not at the expense of a woman’s passion for science, but from jokes about the creepy-crawly things she likes to dissect.”
Peter Marks The Washington Post

“Emily Trask is glowing as the sexy scientist melding her love of learning with love of
the Ensign Lovely.”
Eleanor Holdridge -
MD Theatre Guide by Joel Markowitz Jan 26th

"the most disarming of Centlivre’s independently minded women, Valeria (the winsome Emily Trask)" Chris Klimek  Washington City Paper

“Emily Trask lends sweetness to Valeria while finding the humor in her devotion to scientific investigation”
STEVEN MCKNIGHT DCTheatrescene.com

“Emily Trask is amusing as Valeria, a socially awkward woman who finds true love with
science and biology, and perhaps a man as well.”
Julia Exline MD Theatre Guide Jan 31st
