The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts

Honored and excited to join the ranks of the

Pacific Conservatory Theatre

and the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts

as their newest
Resident Artist and Faculty Member.

PCPA is a truly rare organization
and the embodiment of the mentor/apprentice model.

The Resident Artists serve as Faculty for the Conservatory during the day, and then they act along side their students (who serve as as understudies, ensemble members, and in supporting roles) in the professional productions.

I will be teaching Shakespeare for the Conservatory
and serving as a Resident Artist in the Company for the Professional Theatre.
(including a fabulous Summer Season of outdoor theatre in beautiful Solvang, CA)

This "unicorn*" opportunity allows me to utilize all my theatrical passions:
act, teach, sing, dance, direct, mentor, dramaturg

And it's in the Central Coast of California.  In wine country.  Close to the Ocean.
So.  Come visit.

*unicorn: a magical creature that I previously didn't believe existed

Over the past two months, I've had the good fortune to
participate in two, exciting new play workshops.

These new plays are going places... literally.
Picture
This past month, in March, I got to dive into Larissa FastHorse's hilarious and brilliant new play, The Thanksgiving Play, at The Milwaukee Repertory Theatre.
Watch for it around the country and in New York this coming season!

Picture
In February I had the incredible experience of workshopping Kash Goin's play, Seventy IV Seconds... to judgement, at The Arden Theatre in Philadelphia.  Watch for this powerful new play in The Arden's 2018/19 mainstage season!

The only known play by Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Edith Wharton, The Shadow of a Doubt was recovered in 2016 after scholars discovered a letter referring to its first rehearsals for its intended Broadway run in 1901.
Now, 80 years after Wharton’s death, this newly rediscovered manuscript reveals an important chapter in her literary career.
