Having a wonderful time in Peter Pan
at The Pacific Conservatory Theatre.

Not only do I get to live out a
Disney movie doppleganger dream as Mrs. Darling!
But I also get the privilege of narrating this lovely musical with J.M. Barrie's incredible original words.
You can catch it for two more weeks at
The Pacific Conservatory Theatre

I recently had the honor working with
photographer Brian James
on a powerful photo series he's creating, entitled

The Divided States of America

The series photographically alludes to major issues our country is currently grappling with.  I find Brian's work particularly poignant because these issues are so often
difficult to encompass in words -
yet somehow their essence is powerfully summed up
in these images.

For a sneak-peak,
here are two photos from the shoot that I got my hands on
just in time for the November elections.

Honored and excited to join the ranks of the

Pacific Conservatory Theatre

and the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts

as their newest
Resident Artist and Faculty Member.

PCPA is a truly rare organization
and the embodiment of the mentor/apprentice model.

The Resident Artists serve as Faculty for the Conservatory during the day, and then they act along side their students (who serve as as understudies, ensemble members, and in supporting roles) in the professional productions.

I will be teaching Shakespeare for the Conservatory
and serving as a Resident Artist in the Company for the Professional Theatre.
(including a fabulous Summer Season of outdoor theatre in beautiful Solvang, CA)

This "unicorn*" opportunity allows me to utilize all my theatrical passions:
act, teach, sing, dance, direct, mentor, dramaturg

And it's in the Central Coast of California.  In wine country.  Close to the Ocean.
So.  Come visit.

*unicorn: a magical creature that I previously didn't believe existed

No such thing as a one-person show.
This world was expertly built by
Sarah Pearline (scenic design), Josh Schmidt (sound designer and composer),
Eric Van Tassell (lighting design), Haley Borodine (props), Andrew Vincent (costumes)

Directed by Lenny Banovez,  Stage Managed by Kristiana Murphy,
Mused by Alicia Storin

check out their beautiful work (and my many weird acting faces) below!
Or come see it for yourself!

Running through August 7th
(There are only a few tickets left for the rest of the run - so get 'em while you can!)
