In 1606 the bubonic plague forced the theaters in London to close and social gathering to be prohibited. This was also the year that Shakespeare wrote 3 of his most famous tragedies: Macbeth, Antony & Cleopatra, and King Lear That's not to say you should feel any pressure to write a Shakespearean masterpiece during this shelter-in-place! But you might want to read one - and doing so might make you feel more connected. Had fun sharing some thoughts on "reading with a purpose" Masterpiece Theatre/ Fireside Chat/Shakespeare on Social Distancing/with a touch of Tiger (house cat) King style!
